Music Video Structure Timeline

One Direction - Kiss You

Throughout the music video, there are many set ups of those being: ski slopes, the sea, a prison and a road in the mountains. All these shots are green screens that they clearly want the audience too see as the shots drop back to see the room with the crew and equipment like cameras, green screens, clapperboards etc. These shots chop and change throughout the video so the audience don't really know what's coming up next which keeps them excited. There are different types of shots like: longshots, mid-shots, close-up and establishing shot. This makes the video come across professional as it allows the audience to see the video in many different ways which will make them be interested in it more as it's not the same throughout of it. The start and the end of the video are the exact same shots of the road with text on the screen saying the song and band name. The band joke and mess around in it as they want to come across to the audience that they are young and full of energy and fun as their main audience are teenage/young adult girls.
